Privacy and messages
Seaside VR LLC, 140 N Roosevelt Drive, Seaside, OR 97138. We keep only what we need to run your session. We do not sell names, emails, or phone numbers.
Bookings
Name, email, phone, party size, experience, and payment reference so the desk can check you in and email a confirmation. Cards are processed by Stripe or Clover — we do not store full card numbers. You can reschedule or cancel with the confirmation code and the email on the booking. More than 24 hours out, a cancel refunds the Stripe charge. Inside 24 hours the payment stays.
Waivers
Signature, emergency contact, and optional photo consent. If you include a booking code we attach the waiver to that session and stop the unsigned-waiver chase.
SMS
Optional. The checkout box starts unchecked. If you check it, you agree to at most two texts for that paid booking: one about 24 hours before, and one about 2 hours before only if we still do not have a matching waiver. Message and data rates may apply — your carrier bills those, not us. Frequency: 1–2 messages per booking. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help, START to opt back in. These are not marketing texts.
Confirmation, reminder, and waiver chase are transactional — they are about the session you paid for. Marketing updates only go out if you join the offer list (the delayed invite on the site, or the checkout box). Every update has an unsubscribe link. Reply to any email to reach the desk at seasidevrfun@gmail.com.
Site traffic
We keep first-party page analytics on our server: which pages were opened, about how long the tab stayed visible, device size, and how someone arrived (search, Instagram, a partner QR, or a typed address). The first HTML request is also counted on the server — so a visit still registers if JavaScript is blocked. An anonymous visitor id lives in your browser so we can tell a new visit from a return visit. We also count a few actions: Book clicks, desk chat opens, directions, offer-list joins, and booking lookups. We do not store IP addresses or raw browser fingerprints. Crawler hits are labelled and kept off the guest board. This is for running the shop — not ads. Staff pages are not counted.
