First time

Staff fits you with wireless headsets — no cables, no extra kit fee. Then the floor is yours.
Walk freely in 500 sq ft. Your body is the controller. Staff is in the room. Step out if you need to.
This is a stand-and-walk crossing. You are on your feet for the session, moving, ducking, and reaching. If you cannot stand and walk unassisted for 20–45 minutes, call us before you book — we will tell you honestly if an experience will work. No guests under 9. Suggested ages are listed on each experience. Ages 9–17 need a parent or guardian on the waiver; ages 9–12 need that adult on-site.
Under the hood
The headset the big arenas run, not a big-box set. Detail stays sharp across the room. The view is 105°, wide enough that the edges drop away. Light enough for an hour on your feet.

Each headset has its own PC — an NVIDIA RTX 5080 and 32GB of memory — so the world is drawn on a gaming rig as you walk it, not inside the headset.

Yes — Cannon Beach is about 9 miles south, roughly 15 minutes; Astoria is about 17 miles north, roughly 25 minutes. Both are an easy trip up or down Highway 101, especially on a day when the beach isn't cooperating.
A typical arcade is a room of separate machines — everyone playing alone, feeding tokens machine by machine, over in a minute. Seaside VR books one private floor for just your group — you're moving through a real space together, not standing at a cabinet — and a session runs 20 minutes to a full hour, not a quarter's worth of play. One price covers the floor, the kits, and staff running it: no tokens, no per-machine costs, no guessing what you'll have spent by the time you leave.
That's what guests tell us, over and over — that they genuinely forgot they were in a building in Seaside. Free-roam means you're physically walking, ducking, and reaching through the world, not sitting still with a controller, so the sense of actually being there is the whole point, not a side effect.
Sessions start at $15 per player for a quick-play hop; premium verses and escape rooms run higher, and clean socks are required in the arena — $3 a pair if you don't bring your own. Booking ahead holds your floor for the whole open day. Walk-in is only during the posted walk-in hours: Sat 12pm–6:30pm. No guests under 9 — ages 9–17 need a parent or guardian on the waiver, and 9–12 need that adult on-site.
